The game ends when Mjarin's head is cut off by Connacht. There is then a text-epilogue, like in Myth II, detailing how Connacht starts his reign as Emperor, and that the Watcher is captured and buried, etc.
There is then a cutscene which has Connacth sending Damas off on his Quest, and the game ends as Connacht and Damas express their friendship for each other. It's emotional blackmail, I tells ya!!!

Yeah, when I first heard of that theory I thought it was a cool idea, but too impractical. Oh well. :)
