: if you heal Soulblighter he is defeated. Once evil, he
: therefore can't be immortal that way, so he does the
: whole self-mutilation thing, which probably also
: allows him to turn into crows, so he can escape from
: life-threatening situations, which is handy if you
: don't want to die. ;)

1) Wow, he dies if you heal him? In both Myth I and II, or just one of those? He must have been corrupted while travelling, then desperately needed the life-prolonging rituals. Oh, also: Does the game end when Damas goes off to destroy the artifacts?
2) Oh, well. I guess that settles that. Darn, I liked the idea of Balor's body walking around without its head, and nobody noticing because of the armor.
