: 50,000 years ago or whatever. All right, now it's
: modern day, and somewhere, somehow, somebody has come
: across the head (remember, after TFL, we still don't
: know where it is), and he somehow convinces the poor
: soul who found him to help him get a body for himself.
: Now, he calls upon the Leveller (yes, stretching) and
: now he's the leveller (You could also just say that
: somehow the leveller returns and skip the whole head
: thing). Now, we have the Leveller going crazy in
: modern times. The dead are walking the streets,
: destroying modern civilization. Modern day weapons are
: being used against them, however, they also have
: modern day weapons (Thrall now have machine guns {any
: idiot with a trigger finger can use them}), the Fallen
: Lords have modern technology PLUS their magic.
: Our only hope is a small group of Heron Guards that have
: kept themselves alive throughout the ages and have
: been guarding the tomb of their king. Now is the time
: for Alric to awaken!

Oh!!!, very cool. I wold realy like to see tralls with machine guns entering World Street and the Empire state, souless with antitank missiles, atomic wights, fetches riding tanks and fighters. And the USA army freezed of horror. However, it will be cooler to be in the dark side.
Some ideas for Post Soulblighter:
The Dwarves fall to the Ghols, and they made the engineers to build some machine at the untamed lands to recover the head of Balor. A dwarven pathfinder or a dwarven hero will scape and reach muirthemn to prevent the emperor. So the Cath Bruig army will enter the untamed lands to destroy the artifact. They could have siege weapons like in Age of empires throwing balls of flames over the walls of the Ghols' fortress. So the Ghols will make the darf to make powerfull defense weapons (cannons, missils, mortars), but the stupid Ghols don't use it very well. Finnally it could have a very cool level in wich Alric enters the fortress and frees all the Dwarves, the Dwarves take the weapons the were making and it will by a large version of the TFL A long awaited party, with Alric and a lot of Dwarves.
