: I had an interesting idea based 2000 years after SB, The
: Age of the Reckoning.
: Just before their war with the Trow the Callieach fought
: an even greater foe, the Legions of the Dark Gods.
: This were the creatures created by the Dark Gods which
: were to destroy the Children of Wyrd. Slowly the
: gained power in the East until the Struck, however the
: Callieach fought back and after hundreds of years of
: war the Callieach are unable to win outright, so with
: the Help of the Forest Giants the build a gigantic
: impenatrable forest around the Dark Lands, imprisoning
: the legions of the Dark Gods. And so time passes until
: the Leveller of the New age figures out how to
: 'ungrow' this Forest and releases the legions of
: Death, with giant Balrog like guys, but without wings
: and flames, but with big maces, etc.
: The Trow however get an uncomplete message from Nyx and
: are unsure of what it means, some believe it syas to
: fight for the Dark Gods, others believe, since she was
: cut off mid sentence that the Dark Gods have killed
: her and they must seek vengance so join the Light. So
: this creates a split on the Trow, some carrying the
: old style Hammer and armour. The Light Trow, wearing
: light armour and using swords.
: The War pans out lasting 500 years, during which the
: Myrkridia are wiped out again and the The Trow wipe
: each themselves out in a massive battle. The war ends
: when the LEveller is defeated and the spirit of the
: Leveller made coporeal and then slayed, finally
: killing the entity forever. Out of his ashes the hero
: extracts the last of the 49 dreams and completes the
: one Dream thus bringing an end to the cycles and
: allowing the world of Myth to continue to develope
: naturaly.....
Interesting...
very interesting...
But where does humanity come into this? (I'm not a big Trow fan for story purposes)
Does the Leveler seek to destroy the Cath Bruig Empire thus drawing us into the war?
Also, would we see the forest giants?
More questions later...
I would like to see how this would work if someone did a campaign of this.
I know I would play it.
