: Would Balmung count as magic for the purpose of hurting
: this?
Yup.
: Alric is already over 90... wait a sec... he's an
: Avatara, they would live longer then normal humans...
: still he's not inmortal.
He could be. Great Heroes live quite a long time. Tireces lived 1000+ years to become Moagim, Connacht lived 1000+ years to become Balor... hell even Damas lived 1000+ years. The Heron Guard can be effectively immortal... and if the healing ritual brings about immortality in "truely exceptional" people... well, who's more exceptional than the dude that already saved the world twice over?
However, an interesting thing to consider: this is not supposed to be a Light age. Alric and Balor were both supposed to die, and the armies of the Dark should have overrun the world. The Myrkridia are still free, the secrets of necromancy are out thanks to Soulblighter, and the Fetch are still stuck in our world... all of these could be potential big bad new Dark Age things, and presumably Alric is holding them all back practiacally by sheer force of will.
: saga you mean?
Indeed.
: interesting idea... you didn't copyright this right?
Well technically it's copyrighted just by my having written it, but if you're wondering if you could use it to make a scenario... so long as I get to critique it along the way, sure.
: seriously that would be very interesting... if you want
: to make that Ashrak unit and send it to me (since I
: cann't make units, and it's your idea anyway) I would
: think that could be interesting... very interesting.
I'm no good with Fear, much less making all the new graphics that would be neccesary for it.
: How long after Soulblighter would this be anyway?
: It took (I assume) 60 years to rebuild the Province, Wyrd
: only knows how long it will take to restore the Cath
: Bruig Empire "back to its former glory".
I didn't really give it a timeframe... just sometime after SB, when all the human nations have once again been reunited under the Bruig. The Barrier is still mostly desert, though.
