: Well... maybe they are related, but I dont think that
: Moagrim warped ghols. I dont have any reason why, I

Warped ghols does hold water... It doesnt really feel right to me but I can see one of them changing into a krid.

: Strength in numbers? Four krids can wipe out 10 warrs and
: 20 thrall to boot. If Balor did not creat an equivilnt
: to them it is because he could not. Probobly the same
: restrictions apply to all leavelers.

Actually, 10 warriors would kick 4 krids 䧧. Same goes with 20 thrall vs 4 krids. You are way overestimating their power - they are good but not that good.

The Leveler doesnt want to be monotonous. What do you think the Dream of Unlife was? That was a pretty powerful thing, probably even more so than the Krid Nightmare or whatever. With the Dream of Unlife, Balor was able to raise absolutely massive armies of thrall that wiped out the Light just as effectively as bands of Myrkridia. Perhaps he returns with a new weapon each time, a new major magic trick.

Also, look what happens when a krid giant dies: They get sucked into the ground; they sort of melt and fall apart, I dont know how to describe it but I can explain it: Ashes to ashes; dust to dust. Moagim had to start with something, perhaps it was te very earth itself - an irony indeed, as the giver of life would be twisted and instilled with a will to kill.

I'm not trying to say the krids are made of dirt. I am aware that they bleed and all. But according to the myths of many cultures and even acceptable science up to a few hundred years ago, life could be created from earth.
