Why would it bother anyone? It's not like the Asylum is crawling with vital topics that your posts are cruelly displacing. :-)
Simply for your own benefit, though, it's a good idea to keep trawling through the archives with the search engine--practically any issue imaginable has been debated exhaustively at one time or another, and sometimes they raise a point you may have missed when crafting a particular theory.
Plus Forrest used to curse in Portuguese a lot, and that's always fun to read.
