In Response To: TFL Introduction (Seraph)

: In the Myth TFL introduction a berserk delivers "the
: Head" to Alric who is in a tent with two other
: people.
: Who are they? One of them looks like a journeyman, and
: the other seems to be some type of mage but does
: anyone have a better guess then that?

Possibly one of the nine, or some surviving eastern mage who knew where to look for the artifact.

: Also are Alric and his army doing camped outside
: Muirthemne?
: (presumably some distance from but not THAT far away)

If you will remember, Alric's army was east of the Cloudspine when it was destroyed by the Deceaver; therefor it is reasonable to guess that his army was the eastern army, charged with disrupting the darks movement through the passes and recovering lost artifacts before the Fallen could get to them.

: Besides the Head and the Eblis stone there is really
: nothing left in the city of value (The Ibis Crown and
: Balmung, actually which brings up another question)
: If Alric is able to get at an Eblis Stone (presumably
: from Muirthemne) why doesn't he go for the Ibis Crown
: and Balmung? Of course you need about 10-20 warriors
: (using the term to just mean soldiers) in that
: scenario to recover the Crown and Balmung, but surely
: Truan of the Hundred Battles and/or one his Berserk
: buddies could have gotten them.

I would say there are a great many artifacts left in the city. It's just that the people who would know where they were located are all dead.

As far as I know, the Eblis stone did not come from Mirthemni, but was delivered to Alric from a small city in the North (forgot its name, been awhile). And as vast as the catacombes are, I doubt he had the time or inclanation to spend the lives of his elite warriors on such a dangerous hunt. Plus I don't know if Bungie had come up with the ideas for the Ibis crown or Bawmung by the time they had finished TFL.
