: only has the effect of killing the soldiers sent on
: the mission. The cutscene shows Alric's head flying
: off at the end so this may be reflecting their
: original plan to make the hero throw the head in.

ummm, Gholbane, do you mean when the Legion got their hands on the arm? That was months before the Gjol, if I remember.

the rest from here on out seems to make sense with the dates.
