I never actually thought of that, but it's kinda creepy... Cruniac finds the diary in the Baron's library, but why that particular one. It must have been set aside somewhere so Soulblighter could pick it up or read it sometime. Otherwise, who could find it without knowing the catigorization that Kildaer put into his library. Cruniac would have probably never found it in the limited time unless something called his attention to it, such as it was the book on the Baron's desk in his study... soulblighter comes, slashes open Cruniac, and quickly pages through the book to information that he is looking for, the codex contains info on the man unborn who will resurrect the summoner, so then a bunch or warriors find them, and cruniac escapes while they get slaughtered, and he gives the book to Garrick, who gives it to the narrator, thus Soulblighter has a burning desire to find the Summoner and bring the Krids back.
