Who's Skull?
As for why we don't see Murgen and Cu Roi at Forest Heart, I think it's because the "Forest Heart" level just represents a small, but strategically vital, part of a larger battle. You simply happen to be commanding the small part of the Legion who have a chance at killing Soulblighter's Trow generals, and it can be assumed that Murgen and CuRoi are commanding more troops elsewhere.
