: I knowticed this when I was reading WoT books too but a
: lot of the stuff in WoT are taken from Tolkein, so i
: dont think that myth borrowed directly from them
: though its interesting anyway
: also myth is more of a war game while WoT evolves more
: from war and into indivisual people (at least 20 major
: charectors and countless minors who become major, its
: insane, but not armies!)
: Though if warlocks and male aseidi are the same then that
: makes Rand the Deceiver... I could see that working
: out in the future WoT books too...
I disagree that the WoT books and Myth are related.
Both are very good fantasy world things.
But there is alot that is different.
In Myth there is the Cath Bruig Empire= no such Empire in the WoT. (Hawkwing's Empire was not lasting and it is the only thing I can think of)
In Myth we have Dwarves and Fir Bolg= no equivalent.
Myth has armies mostly of Undead for the Dark (I've only read the first four Wheel of Time books, btw)
WoT has monsters.
I could continue but it would take a long time.
Just E-mail me if you want to continue arguing this.
