I think the key to figuring out who it is lies not in deciding which facts would make him the certain character, but it lies in deciding which facts make him NOT a certain character. Such as, he cannot be a dwarf because he speaks of them like they are of a different race, and also he would not have to hear of their story of destroying the godhead, he would have known it and believed it and most likely experienced it. so it would seem that our Narrator is a standard warrior in both games.
