: he's done in the past is so attrocious that he has to
: die to ahceive forgiveness.
Yea. Personaly I like it that he dies. its kinda a Darth Vader curve. In myth III we see him turn to evil, Myth TFL, comminting atrocities and in Myth II he redeems himself be sacrificing himself so he can defeat Shiver. Its that kind of final sacrifice that would be cool in a movie.
Actually they should have put a cutscene right there as the deciver walks up Shiver. He talks to Shiver and then we theres a pan shot as Phelot killing Myrks and the he disappears into the dust. The we focus on the Shiver, dec duel, both killing the other to the same degree, Dec knowing he has to die to kill her, sacrifices himself, and we see some really cool shots of his face as he finally redeems himself, that would have been nice. Even more heart-string tugging than the end of myth III where Damas is so ethical and Loyal, even though we know what is to happen to him.
