Agreed. Some say that there is no real way to show that TFL Narrator is a Warrior, because how do you know the Prologue man is the same person, but that is a stupid argument as Bungie wouldn't have written the Prologue as a Journal entry if they hadn't meant it to be the same person - they would have written it as a stroy or recap, like in M2.
PS, every mediaeval/fudal-esque society had to be harsh on children because life was harsher, and every culture has plenty of drunkards. :)
