: doubt that he is. They never talk about him after he
: kills Shiver and "dies," but then again they
: never actually say he died. Oh, and another thing, its
: quite possible to kill Shiver in the very beginning of
: the level, and i have done it many times, and have
: saved films. Thus the deciever does not die, and the
: level is actually passed if you kill here right away.

: himself open to die after that, he's smarter than
: that, and he would know shiver's magical power.

Maybe. But he seems to genuinley want to acheive retribution. Maybe he knows that the amount of evil he's done in the past is so attrocious that he has to die to ahceive forgiveness.
