Well... There's a couple different ways you can look at it. The view of the normal people in myth is that Alric is a near god-like hero, the same as Connacht was at the beginning of the Wolf Age. However, if you just look at it as a strategy game... There generally isn't any one hero in a strategy game, because it deals with too many people and it's rare that you find a game of this genre where you get a particular unit (not a unit type, but one specific unit) that actually manages to get through the entire game.
