Yer-Ks used to be a human state that boasted many powerful sorcerers, knights, and sailors. Supposedly, the Trow saw Yer-Ks as a threat and used some magic (stolen from the Callieach) to drown the kingdom.

: between the Trow and iron (such as Trow:iron::Forest

The Trow used iron to enslave the Oghres (they used iron warriors, and made the oghres build huge iron temples to Nyx). Not only that, but they laid waste to possibly millions of acres of forest land to fuel their iron forges.

: obvious that Trow are like the epitome of
: civilization, while Myrkridia are like barbaric

Who doesn't have something against the Myrkridia? The Myrks are actually not of this world. Moagim brought them from a dark world (or possibly dimension) to lay waste to the Light.
