: Damas never had a real despising of the Myrkridia, since
: he was from Llancarfan and the Downs, he had less to
: fear and hate of the Myrks than Connacht, who's family
: were eaten by Myrks and who had spent his entire life
: hunting the things down.
So why was Damas such a friend to this "county bumpkin"? Was he just fighting the krids because his buddy was? And did he release them when Balor died because Balor wasn't watching anymore, thus Soulblighter could be freed of a "guilty conscious" (even he even had one)? There is something about this that doesn't make any sense to me.
