: I think the idea is not so much that the humans got rid

: were rampaging across the Mythworld are, by the end of
: the War against Soulblighter, without any kind of
: unified leadership, and, as such, aren't really a
: threat against civilisation as a whole. (Although
: they'd happily rip to pieces and unwalled towns or
: bands of travellers!)
But remember when Alric and the Legion raised the Myrkridian standard to lure Balor out. Balor/Connacht was outraged by it. He destroyed the myrkridian standard just as he hated the myrkridia.
