No reason to think of Wyrd as affiliated with the Light any more than the Dark Gods are affiliated with the Dark, though. Wyrd created almost everything, so far as we know, not just the good stuff. Light and Dark mages alike use his Dreams. And the only action he's said to take these days is to "smite" alien beings like Fetch if he sees them trespassing on his world. He definitely hasn't established himself as being a "good guy."
(That's another gap in the Myth III story, btw...now that damn near every evil creature ever came from another dimension originally, why isn't Wyrd smacking 'em down right and left?)
Sure, the humans worship Wyrd while the Ghôls worship the Dark Gods. But we've seen that the various races have different viewpoints on the natures and history of the gods they worship. I doubt the Ghôls would agree that Wyrd is the "good guy" and they worship the "bad guys."
Human sacrifice is nasty, but plenty of cultures do that without us classifying the individual members of those cultures as evil. And remember, the Ghôls aren't human. :-) Humans are loathsome animals to them, just like Ghôls are loathsome animals to humans and Dwarves.
