: Feel free. It's still a fact that the "error"
: or inconsistency is on MJ's part, but if you think
: that makes for a better game, then that's how you feel
: and no one can argue with you. (Same with the
: Oghres--they obviously aren't the real Oghres from the
: Myth comic, but at least a few people seem to prefer
: them, so maybe from an aesthetic angle it was a good
: change to make.) Although I personally think evil
: monster-worshipping Dwarven technopriests would be
: more interesting.
Yea but I like it when I (empahasies that I) get to use him :P
I was cheesed off with the Oghres (I honestly thougt they were mauls in the pre-release images.)But I changed my mind after seeing the refugees video. If you look at them they don't actually look like pigs as much as mauls. Their bodies are less stooped and they look like bulky humans. And though their heads are rather pig shaped, their nose is more of a trunk than a snout. And they have smaller horns.
And the oghres in the comic to me looked like bungie weren't sure what they wanted them to look like yet, even before I knew about Myth III. They're feature looked kinda discreet and in each frame they looked different.
