In Response To: Re: The Cycle *PIC* (zeph)

: Now in many ways we face a dark Millenia:Trow free,
: Myrkridia, Ghols with explosives, shades, 2 Fallen
: Lordsetc.
Although fallen lords like the deciever and soulblighter WERE NOT effected by this - Balor death should have drained their power or something, SB obviously found a way to free himself. Also I think this about Myrdred: (although I just go to "a dream of release" in M3) here is my theory:
Connacht learned the confinment dream from the trows, they knew it from the calliach probably, maybe it was a runestone that survived the cataclysm in siaw'non. Balor as connacht uses the confinment dream on the fallen lords to bind them to his will, BUT the deciever = MYRDERD knows the dream of release, although weaker than Balor he still is one heck of a mage so he might have got free that way.
What I actually ment to say is that the 2 unknown fallen lords might have died with Balor.

About other evil harrasment, I dont know how they can do any harm, well not with Alric around anyway, if Alric dies this could all be exactly like the wind age.

: Also the age is very dark already 110 years were spent in
: difficulty and slow rebuilding and most of the
: Millenia will be spent rebuilding the world
: escpecially the Downs.

: The cycle being broken can be seen in 3 ways, one
: optimistic:We are stuck in a Light age forever.
: 2 Pessimistic (But allot more fun): The Age is stuck in a
: medium, not light not dark, forever.
: 3 Really Pessimistic:Stuck in a dark age, a punishment to
: Alric for breaking the cycle.

: We don't know if the leveller is truly dead, though
: Connacht is definately dead, you can't bring back a
: guy with no head.

Well this is a thought I just brought up, if fallen lords like SB and the deciever didn't fall with Balor maybe he isn't really dead. Sure he's head is still .. umm actually where DOES the great devoid leads to? anyway maybe the focus of his power is still alive, the mantle of the levelear I mean.

: Technically the Head isn't the Leveller, he's just an
: ex-leveller's head, he doesn't have the power of the
: leveller, The Mantle if you will.

100% agreement

: Origanally the cycles were 500 years, explaining
: Connachts early return, this was changed to 1000
: years, making one big mess. But the info on Connacht
: saying he would usher in a dark age is new and is
: accurate, is it a hint to Myth IV? perhaps the Cycle
: been broken also stopped what happens in the Codex
: what happens in the real world.
: Myth IV (Oh please, oh please, oh please) will hopefully
: explain this.

From the M3 manual (its not exact cause im translating from hebrew) - the future - it is uncertain what happens next..." "... perhaps the spirit of the leveler is completly wiped out..."

In other words, MJ themselves dont wanna give us clues of what is on to happen, actually they just leave everything open. I also think that destroying completly the leveler's spirit would be more then just lopping off its' last incarnation's head and tossing it away. I think it should be some kind of a practice that won't be exactly like killing a person, maybe more like casting a huge ass spell . it should be more abstract anyhow...
