Maybe the Watcher leveled Muirthemne before Connacht =)

Remember he's been around for thousands of years. He was one of the ones who served under Moagim and was trapped by Connacht in the cloudspine (thats how he lost his arm.)

Also, The Deep, where si'Anwon is rumored to be, the place where the Watcher found the Dream of Unlife, is very close to the Stair of Grief. And its the closest pass to Avon's Grove, where Phelot - a shade, most likely one of The Watcher's - leveled the town.
