Also, the only place where Culweyh is talked about at all is in those two wight flavor texts. It was only GURPS which talked about Culweyh still being around.
As for Ravanna's magic sk33lz, I surmise that she probably learned them after Balor has ressurected (or however he got her on his side 1000 years after she was in her early 20s) her in the form of Shiver. After all, who is more useful, a single excellent warrior or a single powerful mage who can destroy legions at a time? Her being new to the trade might also explain why she was so easiy tricked by Rabican. Then when SB brought her back, she had those same magic powers.
