As Smasher said, Myth III isn't a Bungie product; it was developed by Mumbo Jumbo, published by Take Two, and ported to Mac by Macsoft. One of the most popular pastimes of people complaining about it at the moment is figuring out exactly how blame should be apportioned among about thirty different companies and a thousand different individuals. NOT that I'm recommending you take up that hobby too. : -)
Nate Birkholtz of MacSoft just posted on the Mythvillage.org forum on this very matter. You may find it helpful.
