No. I'm saying accepted sources have said that Gower was in existence after the Soulblighter War.
I could leave it at that but here is another reason.
What is in Gower? Nothing realy, and the population is not very large. So it might have been that the subjugation/destruction of the kingdome was toward the bottom of Balors list of things to do. After all, they could not realy threaten him, and if they were realy as tough as all get out than it would have taken more resorces to take them down than was worth it.
