Not surprising; Roman mythology's pretty heterogeneous, since it drew on Greek and Egyptian and Etruscan and Celtic and native rural sources all at once; so there were about twenty different deities for any given position. But if you look at the major urban literary sources you'll see Orcus most of the time. Catullus writes a poem about his girlfriend's bird dying and going down to meet Orcus, for instance.
