GURPS got it wrong. It's not a golden idol; it's the large stone statue which is in the same of Ghôl head, the one we see in A Long Awaited Party. Either that, or Seabolt just made up something that has no relation to Myth at all, ignoring the existing stone idol (since Ghôls worship stone, not gold (as similar the words 'Ghôl' and 'gold' are)). Why would he do this? Probably to fill out the magic items list, seeing as a lot more relics than what Myth has to offer are needed for good RPGing (he might think).
