: I actually changed it because I had gotten a lot of
: complaints to the contrary: "it's all just text
: on white! Augh the white hurts my eyes reading for so
: long! Can't you put some kind of soft background in
: there?"
Gotta remember that people are stupid, Forrest; that's why it hurts; too much information :-D.
: As for the faces, I tried them first, but that big of an
: image (pixel dimensions) filled with a texture was
: MUCH bigger than that big of an image lined with an
: image and filled with white, so I had to make the
: overall image shorter, which meant I couldn't have
: such a long row of faces down the side... and I didn't
: want to have just TWO faces. (How is that reminscient
: of the Mill, BTW? The Mill never shared the same theme
: as this site... this site's theme comes from Myth
: Nontoxic, which long predates the Mill).
This has been the sister-site for as long as I can remember. The old Mill and here both used the same kind of design and colors. They were obviously similar. They had simiplicity and wonderousness. Bungie.org isn't as guady as the Mill now, but it's certainly less appealing.
: Maybe it would be smaller in JPG.... I'm gonna be
: changing almost all of the .html files soon (that
: "minor tweak" I mentioned), so I could
: change the background image to a JPG while I'm at it.
Well, whatever; it's just traditional.
: WRT
Damn your internet html java dookicky code. What does this mean?
: the "grey" text... uh, the text is solid
: black everywhere on the site.
Not the text of the Asylum. What your reading right now is quite grey. I can even copy and paste it into any word processor and see how its a dark grey.
: If I made it any more
: black it would start sucking space and time into it.
Lol, nice.
: But I could try to lighten up the background a little
: bit, see if that helps the contrast at all.
The changes to the rest of the site are probably fine. How about just keeping the Asylum the same as before? That'd be a nice compromise.
