: The cycle is 100 years not 160.
The cycle is 1000 years, actually.
:Anyway,in Myth tfl it is
: Balor (Leveller), and Soulblighter never causes as
: much destruction as Balor did, wheras Mjarin caused
: destruction by ressurecting evil lords like Moagim and
: set them free.
Soulblighter ressurected Shiver, brought The Summoner, unleashed the Myrkridia on the world... True, he didn't destroy as much as Balor, but what he did attack went byebye MUCH faster. It took Balor more than a century to reach Madrigal. Soulblighter just rode it down like grass, along with everything else west of the Dwarven Empire.
:Its more about causing
: destruction than hierarchy anyway. Mjarin caused
: destruction by raising Moagim. Balor caused
: destruction by loosing upon the world The Deceiver,
: Soulblighter, The Watcher, Shiver, "The
: Lurker" and "The Faceless Man".
And Soulblighter was getting ready to permanently destroy the entire world by shattering the Cloudspine. Balor would have wiped out life. Soulblighter would have wiped out existance as we know it.
:Anyway, as we all know it
: generally goes to the hero of the last age (which is
: why I beleive Illium is Mjarin, if Illium is a
: person.)
Not to say Damas IS the hero of the Wind Age, because I doubt very much that's what Bungie originally intended, but he could be if he had to be. If I was more willing, I'd probably formulate some ridiculous theory about the artifacts he hid and how Soulblighter ripped off his face and tore out his heart. :)
