I know of GURPS Myth. The Myth sourcebook will probably be miles and miles better than mine, but just in case SJ games havn't done their research (very unlikely) I am going to do mine. Anyway, I expect some of the things that they put in their book will go against some of the theories put in the Asylum. I, however won't be doing that!
The main thing though is that the GURPS system is meant to cover all types of universe and galaxy. It figures that if you made an RPG system for a SPECIFIC world, its gonna be better because its more concentrated on that worlds physics.
I have been playing RPG's for a long time now as well. I play Star Wars (damn fine sci-fi RPG) and Warhammer. Warhammer is great fun for any Games Workshop supporters, but probably not for other people.
I have NEVER played AD&D, despite the fact that most believe its the best Fantasy RPG around.
Now where's that green putty I was playing with earlier....
