: Are Dwarves supposed to have long-range? Can't remember
: if it talks about them being nearsighted outside of
: GURPS...
GURPS talked about that, but since every other part of GURPS was disproved I don't see why this one shoulnd't be ;). Also, it said that some dorfs weren't nearsighted, hence morter dwarves. P'raps some of these could be trained as musketmen.
: I always wanted to do a Dwarf-Ghol alliance ; have
: Dwarves adding their technology to the natural talents
: of the nonhuman races. Ghols with muskets and
: explosives (extremely unreliable, naturally...no Dwarf
: would arm a Ghôl if he wasn't hoping it would blow
: itself up); armored Mauls with mortars, acting as
: living tanks.. that sort of thing.
Hmmmm… perhaps some group of dark dwarves or something similar?
BTW, is it true that armored dwarves in M3 are very resistant to explosives? If this is true than the old strategy of running your troops into a fight and them blowing up the lot of them is made ininently mo' betta…
