: Silicon; the Tales were written by a scribe of some sorts
: who never saw Oghre; After all, most artists drawing
: dinosaurs took artistic liberties; even better, many
: medievil pics of The Bible include Western-Europeans
: in spanish-trying-to-be-greek armour. Jesus was WHITE
: with BROWN HAIR in those pictures!!! Would this scribe
: want to show that the Trow repressed gigantic brute
: Oghre capiable of crushing humans? methinks not.
: Methinks he'd try to make some kind of anti-Trow
: propaganda.

"Antero's Bestiary" is written by Ewan the apprentice, whose goal in life is to amass as much knowledge about the creatures of the Mythworld as possible. He wouldn't be interested in propaganda. If he just wanted to smear the Trow, he wouldn't need to risk his life by going up there and getting their true history in the first place.

Beyond this, why do we think that those pictures of the past were supposed to be drawn by Ewan or any other character in the story? They're not "framed" in any obvious manner (like the Fang-Grinder pictures), or set off from the pictures of Ewan and Acerus Magnus. I don't see why we wouldn't take them as just as "God's eye" accurate as pregame pictures.
