Myth IV Phelot
or
Myth IV The Shade
Basically, as everyone knows Phelot did not die. Hes still walking.... or um floating about somewhere. And just for fun lets assume that many Myrkridia were never destroyed, and were simply left behind.
So Phelot begins with litte. A few Myrkridia and the Warlocks of Scholomace (where do you think they went to after the level Shiver eh?). He knows that he is nowhere as powerful as SB was, and he knows that he would not get very far.
So he was talkin with one of the locks one day and the warlock told the story of Damas, Ravanna and their son Flin I think. Damas and Ravanna became Soulblighter and Shiver (duh) and Flin became the faceless man. The Faceless man was called that because noone knew his identity. He lived as many men in many places, and Soulblighter knew this. The Faceless Man also discovered the secret of ressurection. So Soulblighter assumed that Flin was the Summoner talked about in the Codex. Feeling for his son, in the beginning of the campaign he asks Flin to ressurect the Myrkridia for him.
So he does, and when the Deceiver comes and 'slays' the Faceless man, Flin had already transported himself to another body far off.
Phelot begins his war with the light by sacking Covenant (it happens in every game) about a hundred years after the last war. With the help of the Summoner, Phelot raises an even larger army of Myrkridia, and ressurects several powerful trow from the war with Connacht, who have nothing wrong with using hammers and iron armour. This forces the Maul and the Trow to join with the light.
:D nice eh?
Then you could do things like make Alric the son of the Deceiver and Ravanna, then a big soap-oprahish fight begins "oooh i cant beleive you. you cheated on me waaah waaaah waaaaah. waaaaah." "honey, there was no LOVE in that relationship." Or not. :)
seriously though, it answers some questions but you could make new ones.
