The other games say nothing about the Callieach, who were only mentioned in the Myth Comic and GURPS (a book describing the Myth backstory sanctioned by Bungie).

I also hope they don't explain things "in full". If there's no loose ends, no mysteries, there'll be nothing to ponder and theorize about. If its like that then I for one will be a bit disappointed by the end.
