Hiay,
These items, like the SunHammer, and the Tain, were originally made by the Callieach, but Connacht is given the secret to how they are made and relates them to the Smiths of Muirthemne, who recreate them. So, basically, the Tain was made by the Smiths of Muirthemne, but the plans for the Tain, and perhaps a previous Tain, were made by the Callieach. Same with the SunHammer.
