But it's the Cath Bruig Empire. Alric obviously lied when he said "[the palace of] Llancarfan will once again be the seat of the Empire!" I'm sure the whole Ibis Crown thing is just as important as the city itself to maintaning morale and magical power. Then again, Alric always was the nearsighted type. Oh well…
