: Wow. What a prologue.
: Compare that with the lame tale of Andir...
That and it's got a cool intro cutscene associated with it (I played it briefly on my friends PC).
: The only faults I've heard about M3's story are that
: (a) it wasn't written by Bungie (pah) and
I say pah too. A good storyline is a good storyline.
: (b) it explains too much, and leaves too few loose ends.
This might be true. The manual itself (which I've borrowed from that same friend) is meticulously detailed about evey single age up to now, explaining the creation of the world, the warlocks and everything in a very clear way. :(
Just kiddin' I'm sure they've put in some loose ends. Thumbing through it briefly it ties up a lot of old stuff, but introduces some new things as well, things that will probably not be incredibly well documented and will spark debate. Also there's the whole aspect of the ingame play. As we know from the other two games, it can lead to some mighty conjecturin'.
They did say Myrdred died though
there goes my pet theory.

BTW Iron, reason I've been AWOL is that my normal comp is in the shop along with hotline, my files, etc
on it. This one's my mom's and while she'll let me use it for the net and work, I canna' put hotline or anything of the sort on it. See yaz when my computer comes back from the vets ;)
