Prior to her defeat at the hands of Rabican, her eyes were cloaked with darkness (check out the Myth comic). And although she didn't actually cut bits off like Soulblighter, her extreme deformity both before and after her defeat might qualify as destruction of her face. It certainly masks her from anyone who knows what she used to look like when she was human.
