: World knots are distributed throught the myth world. The
: great cities (all except muirthemne)have them, or
: rather, are built around them, and yet no one knows of
: their origin.
: The smiths of muirthemne (or at least thier ancestors)
: could be the ones who made them. In the myth 2 level,
: "beyond the cloudspine" the dwarves in the
: party state that they know how to fix a broken world
: knot. So its plausable that they could have built them
: in the first place. Notice how the world knot works
: again as soon as the pieces of unknown stone are put
: together. This proves that no arcane power is set upon
: world knots, but rather the stone used to make the
: world knots are probably magic to begin with.
: In any case, these knots were made a LONG time ago.
: Ri'hanon, the ancient trow city, was created, but it
: was next to a world know (the one alric used in
: "pools of iron".this throws off the dwarven
: theory (as they are a "new race") Could the
: trow, or perhaps their underlings, created them to
: serve as a faster transportation system than going
: through the then ermine? though this is plausable,
: there is more that thickens the plot...
: In myth 3 screenshots, there are several screens of
: stonehenge-like constructions. could those have been
: ancient world knots? the ground near the world knots
: in "beyond the cloudspine" are fairly
: consistent with that of the constructions in myth.
: At any rate, i hope myth3 clears the world knot mystery
: up, because i am stumped :\
I would also like to add that dwarves created the Tain, another object with strange powers..
