17 days elapsed between The Great Library (when Soulblighter's army was thought to be small and easily destroyed) and Gate of Storms (when he actually showed up with Myrkridia.) It's entirely possible that he could have found the Summoner, started resurrecting Krids, and knocked off Andir before the inhabitants of that isolated village had even confirmed Soulblighter's return.
