In myth tfl no one mention him as a king. and in the Firbolg Flavor text they mention a great king Calliban. he is the king. not alric.
Alric is an avatara leader.
The avartara is sorceres and they don't become king because they are great heros. i know cause i live in a kingdom. they dosn't just throw the old king away an put a hero in instead.
And he wasn't a hero at the time you said he was king.
