After another good perusal of the TFL tags I ran into this tasty little tidbit: If you look at the TFL collection for fetch (it's missing in the Soulblighter one) there's a very strange little bit in there. A sequence by the name of "Thunderball" is hiding, sandwitched between the "torso" and the "hold" seqs. This fella is a roundish, purple looking ball of _something_. It seems to course with electricity as it cycles through the frames. I have no idea as to what it actually is, but it does seem to have been meant as some sort of fetch ability (perhaps akin to the fireball… but with electricity?). Anyway, just thought I'd bring it up since the possibility of fetch having other abilities was a topic a while back.
Another thing of note is that in the death sequences for both the TFL and SB sprites the fetch loses her horns when she's going through the soft death seq. In fact in the TFL tags the first frame of the flinch is identicle to the fisrt sd frame except for the presence of horns, indicating that it was an intentional modelling thing. Perhaps one can infer from this that the beast inside the fetch is what causes the horns, thus when it's being ripped out, the horns dissapear? This could explain why there's horns in the blown up version as well…
