But wasn't the Watcher still in Mirtemni at that time? I am not sure; however I do know that it was the Watcher who destroyed that city, but at a high cost. It would not make sense to go on the offensive against a fresh enemy (the west) until he had replenished his numbers. Besides I recall a unit description from Myth TFL that said a piece on the battle in question, it said something about the presence of grotesque numbers of hollow men. I know that all of the fallen like soulless but was not Shiver the one who seemed to be in love with them? Again I am not certain, just some thing to think about.
