He didn't stop him, he throw him into the lava, and escape from Forge. Mb he stop him killing the whole world, but not erupting the Forge. I mean mb SB could make "Great eruption of Forge", that would kill and destroy all in mythworld, mb that artifact or speacial "dream" of SB could make the greatest eruption? I don't know.
