: I like these well enough, at least their style. I suppose
: some run-of-the-mill, basic stuff is what we'd want
: anyway :-).
If you need run of the mill, basic stuff, I'm your man. :)
: Or,
: not being alive.
: the end of life characterized by no longer being in that
: state (life is a prerequisite).
I'll go with that.
: Can't quite agree. For one thing, undeath is always
: achieved through Necromancy, unless you can give me a
: counterexample.
Aye. I was going to say 'Always through Necromancy' but decided not to risk it, in case someone could think of a disproving example.
: For another, "undeath" is definitely not
: "life."
: Undead
: absense of death dead and animated
: artificially/supernaturally through Necromancy.
Undead- Life artificially or supernaturally given through the use of Necromancy? Although this could then include cyborgs. Unless 'Life artificially or supernaturally given to a previously dead organism through the use of necromancy'.
: I disagree.
: Unlife
: the state/essense of not living (more exactly, the
: existence of an undead being, as opposed to
: "life" for a living being.
I'm in agreement with Sili, in that I think Unlife is the same as Undeath.
I like mortanimate, and I'll try to use it. I don't think I'll use it a lot, but it's a good word to add to our Myther vocabulary. Some good research Archer! :)
