: I don't even care if they come before the court of law,
: unless they meet the death penalty. I know it isn't
: right to punish death with death, but in this case,
: someone needs to hang/fry.
The death penalty is an interesting subject in this case. These terrorists are too willing to die for their cause. Maybe a life in the worst prison in the world would do.
: I don't want to die. I'm a coward, and I'm not afraid to
: admit it. But if they threaten my family, or my
: friends, I won't hesitate to take up arms against
: them.
You're no coward. A true coward would run from any threat, no matter who was threatened.
: I agree. If countries sit out of the conflict, it makes
: them no better than those who did these horrible acts.
: Australia has already offered its help, and although I
: won't go and fight (even if they drag me), I'll do
: whatever else I can to help out.
: I think all free and democratic nations share your views,
: I only hope lust for power doesn't overtake a sense of
: values.
I don't think it's so much a lust for power as much as a lust for vengeance. THAT'S what scares me. People can be blinded by hate (no, I'm not quoting Star Wars). I want to see those responsible pay too, but when that happens, I hope that the options of where to continue after that are seriously weighed and not by mad justice.
