: How is it a "special" conversion?
It's a special conversion because if it was a regular one the puppet wouldn't be able to use Myrdred's powers and my theory would be wrong. Therefore (of course) it can't be a regular conversion.

But the Warlocks served when Myrdred was absent on the level "The Wall," and then disappeared on the final levels in spite of the fact that Myrdred was still alive (so his order to help the Light was still in effect.) I think Myrdred communicated with them after he killed Shiver and told them to leave and join him.
