: I was on the very roof of one of the towers during the
: summer. It was windy, and there was another platform
: that the public wasn't allowed onto, but for all
: intents and purposes, I got to the top.
My god, how tragic then for you as well
:-(
which is another reason I regretted not seeing the towers in person, if not from a great distance. I wish I could have forged a personal emotional connection to that building and all those people in it, to more appropriately mourn their loss.
: It's horrible to think that now it's gone, the very
: building I was on top of, the same place where
: business people spent most of their daily lives.
I cannot even begin to conceive what has truly happened
: On the way back from early dismissal yesterday I could
: see the giant plume of greyish smoke rising from the
: horizon. And as we type, living people are trapped
: inside.
Exactly; the horror is far from over.
: This is a tragedy and others will happen in other places
: in the world. Because this one was so close, I could
: relate a little more. However, the people that died in
: the buildings and planes are no more important than
: the starving people in war torn countries. We have to
: remember that.
Yes. What is so tragic is that it could happen again anywhere else in the world if it can happen here.
